RHRA Executive Board 2017-18

The Residence Hall Representatives Association (RHRA) executive board consists of the president, secretary, treasurer, and three hall representatives. Each executive board member is responsible for individualized duties during their 10-month position. Additionally, the executive board strives to provide valuable leadership experiences to all residents. Best of the Crest Award

Best of the Crest is an awards ceremony held annually to recognize Cedar Crest College student leaders. These students excel out of the classroom through leadership opportunities, clubs, and organizations. Student Union and Engagement Conference Services Assistants are student leaders that represent the College throughout the summer months. Their main focus is managing multiple external partnerships, to ensure that our guests receive exceptional hospitality and leave Cedar Crest feeling as though it is a place they look forward to coming back to. These students act as residence life assistants, engagement enthusiasts, conflict mediators, camp counselors and most importantly, ambassadors of Cedar Crest College. Elizabeth Thompson was awarded the Student Union and Engagement Conference Services Assistant of the Year for 2016-17.

Best of the Crest Award

Best of the Crest is an awards ceremony held annually to recognize Cedar Crest College student leaders. These students excel out of the classroom through leadership opportunities, clubs, and organizations. The Lutz Center for Community Service awards the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award to students who have completed 100 hours of service or more in the past year. The 2016-17 award winners are Alyssa Bartelt (105 hrs), Leslie Cano (123 hrs), Selena Contreras (100 hrs), Haley Krueger (101 hrs), Michelle Reyes-Vasquez (160 hrs), and Ashley Schoenenberger (125 hrs).

These students excel out of the classroom through leadership opportunities, clubs, and organizations. Bria Boyd earned the Admissions Daisy Award. This award is given to the Admissions Ambassador who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, poise, professionalism, and enthusiasm as it relates to the duties of the Admissions Office. This student goes above and beyond in all circumstances and always with a positive attitude. She also actively assists in the recruitment of prospective students by sharing her experiences on personalized tours, office responsibilities, and Admissions events. She is proud to wear her yellow and white and embodies the ideal Cedar Crest woman.

Admissions Ambassador

Admissions Ambassadors are an extension of the college's Traditional Undergraduate Admissions Office. Ambassadors educate, engage, and communicate with prospective students and their families about the many opportunities Cedar Crest has to offer through campus tours and admissions events. Student Ambassadors assist the Admissions Office in recruiting the next generation of Cedar Crest women.
