The Residence Hall Representatives Association (RHRA) executive board consists of the president, secretary, treasurer, and three hall representatives. Each executive board member is responsible for individualized duties during their 10-month position. Additionally, the executive board strives to provide valuable leadership experiences to all residents. Best of the Crest is an awards ceremony held annually to recognize Cedar Crest College student leaders. These students excel out of the classroom through leadership opportunities, clubs, and organizations. Student Union and Engagement Conference Services Assistants are student leaders that represent the College throughout the summer months. Their main focus is managing multiple external partnerships, to ensure that our guests receive exceptional hospitality and leave Cedar Crest feeling as though it is a place they look forward to coming back to. These students act as residence life assistants, engagement enthusiasts, conflict mediators, camp counselors and most importantly, ambassadors of Cedar Crest College. Elizabeth Thompson was awarded the Student Union and Engagement Conference Services Assistant of the Year for 2016-17.

The Lutz Center for Community Service awards the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award to students who have completed 100 hours of service or more in the past year. The 2016-17 award winners are Alyssa Bartelt (105 hrs), Leslie Cano (123 hrs), Selena Contreras (100 hrs), Haley Krueger (101 hrs), Michelle Reyes-Vasquez (160 hrs), and Ashley Schoenenberger (125 hrs).

This award is given to the Admissions Ambassador or Ambassador Reserve member whose radiant personality shines bright in everything that is asked of her. Her smile, positive attitude, and commitment inspire everyone around her. She gleams with Cedar Crest spirit and brings joy into every situation. This student has demonstrated through her energy and enthusiasm that she is a vital resource to Cedar Crest College Admissions.

This award is given to the Admissions Ambassador or Ambassador Reserve member who has demonstrated promising leadership potential through significant contributions to the Office of Admissions. This student has sought out opportunities to unleash her own potential and develop her skills with the intent to enhance her impact on prospective students and their families.

This award is given to the Admissions Ambassador who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, poise, professionalism, and enthusiasm as it relates to the duties of the Admissions Office. This student goes above and beyond in all circumstances and always with a positive attitude. She also actively assists in the recruitment of prospective students by sharing her experiences on personalized tours, office responsibilities, and Admissions events. She is proud to wear her yellow and white and embodies the ideal Cedar Crest woman.

The bulletin board of the year is a display that is eye-catching, thought-provoking, and promotes student interaction and learning in a unique and creative way.

This award recognizes a program that was created and implemented by a Resident Advisor to provide an exciting and engaging opportunity for the residents in her community. An award-winning program creates a positive and fun environment that is inclusive of all students, provides an entertaining and educational opportunity and enhances the department's vision, mission, and values.

This award is given to a Resident Advisor who consistently exceeds the job requirements, has a positive attitude, supports her team, develops a strong sense of community, and supports the goals of her hall and the department. She is available to her residents, serves as a role model to her peers, and contributes to the campus community.

SCIENTIA, the seated figure on the right of the Cedar Crest College seal, represents a student who scans the globe for opportunities to extend her learning skills into the community for the benefit of others.

LIBERTAS, the figure in the center of the Cedar Crest College seal, lifts a lighted torch and represents a student who stands as a guardian of the liberal arts and the personal freedom of individuals.

RELIGIO, the seated figure on the left of the Cedar Crest College seal, represents a student who strives to apply enduring standards of value to the circumstances of her life, to guide her own actions, and to demonstrate those values to others.

This award is given to a student from any class level who may or may not hold a formal position, but whose behind-the-scenes dedication and labors have proven invaluable to the success of a project, program, cause or movement on campus.

This award is given to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding innovation and leadership in co-curricular activities and/or who has most noticeably developed and exercised effective skills in programming.

This award is given to an individual who is highly involved within the campus community without sacrificing efficiency and dedication.

This award is given to a student in her junior or senior year who has demonstrated a capacity for impacting the Cedar Crest community and served as a role model to younger students.

This award is given to a first-year student or sophomore who has shown initiative, motivation, and potential for continued student leadership early in her career.

Admissions Ambassadors are an extension of the college's Traditional Undergraduate Admissions Office. Ambassadors educate, engage, and communicate with prospective students and their families about the many opportunities Cedar Crest has to offer through campus tours and admissions events. Student Ambassadors assist the Admissions Office in recruiting the next generation of Cedar Crest women.
