Trailblazers. Ceiling smashers. Healers. Helpers. Artists. Advocates. Athletes. Allies. We are a community of students, faculty, staff, families, and friends who are committed to making a positive difference in our own lives — and in the world around us. Here at Cedar Crest College, we hone our skills, realize our potential, and reach for bolder and braver goals. Since 1867, Cedar Crest College has been opening the doors of opportunities for women. Today, we continue to empower our increasingly diverse student body — both in our undergraduate women's college and in our co-ed School of Adult and Graduate Education.

SHRM Club Organizes Excel Training for Students

On February 27, 2019 the Society for Human Resources Management Club (SHRM), advised by Christine Lombardo-Zaun, Esq., MBA, hosted an Excel Workshop that was taught by Dr. Michael Zalot, Assistant Professor in the Department of Business, Management, and Economics. Two 75-minutes sessions were held in the computer lab allowing students to actively participate in learning more about Excel. This was open to all students on campus and the feedback was very positive. The SHRM club officers, Meredith Vandegrift, Kelly Fenstermaker, Fesal Aldoghtir, Kaniz Kashem, and Ashley Ross along with the members of the club developed the idea and implemented it. Certificates of participation were awarded to all students who attended the event. Based upon student demand more sessions will be offered in the future.
